My favorite thing about fashion is that one is not confined to a single style. There are styles for every mood and every occasion. Fashion gives people the opportunity to express themselves through nonverbal communication. An individual's style speaks volumes without even having to voice anything. 

 

The Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising program has given me the push I needed to move forward in life. I am now eager to continue expanding my knowledge in the field of fashion and seeing where life takes me next. Like my style, I am always changing and evolving. I can not wait to see whom I become after I graduate.

My strengths include completing tasks in a timely manner, organizational skills, and teamwork. I value my commitment to personal growth which drives me to be the best I can be every day in all aspects of life.

My career goals include merchandise buying. My technical skills include textile identification, calculating merchandising math, computer skills, experience in excel, information security, and video editing.
